Making sense of the EU maze: Navigating your way to EU funding for Research & Innovation

Who is the presenter?
Rebecca Zammit is the Head of EU Projects and Business Development at Across Limits, a Maltese SME addressing social challenges through trans-European R&I collaboration. She oversees EU-funded R&I projects and has been involved in project management since 2016, specialising in gender equality and education initiatives such as Women TechEU and WINBLUE. She holds a BA in European Studies and an MA in European Public Affairs.

What will she talk about?
EU funding is definitely not for the faint of heart, but for those able to understand the rules of the game, it opens the door for accelerating R&I, network and capacity building, and internationalisation. The webinar will provide an introduction to said rules of the game, placing attendees in the wider picture so as to understand the context of what EU funding is and what sort of perspective and strategy is required to tap into them. We will identify some key EU Funding Programmes that would be suitable for R&I. Lastly, we will cover the basic building blocks of what an EU proposal requires; how to match your needs with that of a call for proposals, develop a concept, build a consortium of partners, and write a competitive proposal, providing practical tips and tricks.
